Speech Minder

1. Overview
Speech Minder is a product of Never Again Flood Defense. This application is designed as a local-only speech fluency tool.
2. Data Collection and Usage
- Audio Data: All audio captured via the microphone or Bluetooth earbuds is processed in real time on your device’s processor and is discarded immediately after analysis. We never record, save, or store your audio.
- Transcriptions: Live text transcriptions are displayed for your convenience but are never saved to disk or transmitted.
- Metadata: The app only saves counts of specific filler words such as “um” and “like” to a local database on your phone. This data never leaves your device.
3. Permissions
- Microphone: Used only for real-time speech analysis.
- Bluetooth: Used only to route audio to and from wireless earbuds.
- Notifications: Used only to show that the monitoring service is currently running.
4. No Data Sharing
We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information. No data is transmitted to Never Again Flood Defense or any third party, including OpenAI.
